Feng Shui Bagua- Love and Marriage

              This Feng Shui area, mostly is  reduced to love and marriage, when in fact this Bagua  is much more than that.  All the Bagua corners cover  more than their names, and so does  Love and marriage to. It refers not only to the love for your partner, but every single relationship based on love; such as family, animals, and even the love for music, arts, and life.
When reading these lines, or in general, reading about Feng Shui, you have to interpret the lines directly . When it says -Love and Relationship, it really means LOVE for everyone and everything, and ALL the relationships you can think of.   
Did you ever wonder, why it’s so  simple, to use  Feng Shui? 
Well because, many of the rules and tips that I give you,  are already in place, because deep down, every human has a sense for the universal energy, and tries to guide it subconsciously.  I’ve seen a lot of houses from different  financial and social stages, and  every house was set up by the needs of the people living inside. If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you might know, that Feng Shui is based on the needs of the people living in the house, it will only work, if you love what you see, no matter what Feng Shui says, about symbolism, or colors or decorations, you should use those, you really like. ( Even though I’m practicing for years now, I only have one small Buddha, I received as a gift, even though, Buddha stands for wealth, and abundance I choose other ways to attract these energies, because my husband doesn’t like the Buddha statues, and I completely respect that. )

           Subconsciously, the way you chose to decorate your home, is mostly the good way, because you want harmony, and you want your place to be comfortable, safe, and beautiful; and that attracts the good energies.
The guide lines,I’m giving are for those cases, and those life areas you have problems with. So you leave all in place if you have a happy and healthy love  and family life, but you   need to redecorate and rethink your love area when you’re not comfortable in your love life, and with the relationships you have.
 And in all of the following cases.
-your having problems with communicating with people, 
-you’re isolated and lonely 
-You have marriage problems 
-You can’t sustain a relationship 
-Can’t make friends, 
-Want to find love, (girlfriend or boyfriend)
-Want to spice up your sexual life, and be more sensual 
-Want to strengthen your marriage, and relationships 
-Activating this areas good energies  can help to overcome frigidity.
In case of any of the mentioned above, try to change the layout of the given room, use some different decorations. Sometimes, by just deep cleaning the area will help, and don’t even need to change many things. Anyways,  down below, I will guide you trough this process and hopefully you’ll have an opened door for LOVE in a few weeks.

  • As it’s not always possible to change the purpose of one room, you have to make the best out of it, worst case scenario would be if the Love corner is a storage room, piled up with stuff you barley use. But even this can be organized and cleaned out to allow the energy flow. Whichever room of your house your dealing with, stay positive, every problem has at least one solution.
  • The Love and relationship section is in the Southwest corner of your house.

  • You can use any object or item belonging to the earth element, due color or  texture


-Terra-cotta in any shapes and sizes
-Porcelain, chinaware
-Anything brown,  yellow, beige, and all the colors suggesting romantic such as baby pink, peach, not to forget the colors of the Fire element, red, purple and orange.
-Anything square, and rectangular ( look around your furniture, maybe they serve as a Feng Shui item as well.


  • Display items in pairs, this will contribute to a healthy marriage 


( The socks which have lost their pairs ‘magically’ can make a huge damage, so if you store them in this area, make sure they are matched. I keep them in my laundry room, until  their ‘other half’ is found.
  • Pictures with your loved ones, have the greatest energy, display as many, you are comfortable with; your wedding pictures strengthen the relationship between you and your partner, every time you look at pictures of the people you love, your heart will be filled with love.

  • Flower arrangements are also a great way to increase the energy, put them into a beautiful vase, and use only healthy and beautiful flowers 💐 (get some  Begonias, if you’d rather use pants instead of cut flowers.)
  • Candles in this area are really welcomed, as with those you can create a really romantic atmosphere. Use red candles if you want to increase passion, and soft pink, and beige to give fundament to your love life.
  • Use intimate lighting, but also make sure, if you need to see something in that area, you do have normal lights.
  • Open fireplace, specially when it’s burning, makes sure that, love never dies.
  • Cushions, blankets, in the color of the fire element, red, purple, orange, pink.
  • Triangle and pyramid shaped objects represent the fire element, and are a great way to portray a harmonious family relationship.
  • Symbolism  -For Long lasting relationships display in pairs the animals, which are know to choose their partner for a lifetime like 
  • Doves 🕊 , ducks 🦆, dolphins 🐬, penguins 🐧.....
  • peony’s- can help you to find the love of your life 
  • Beauty and honestly are symbolized by   Peacocks 🦚  and Swans 🦢.
  • Persistence is represented by Horses
  • All your natural crystals and stones stand for a harmonious family life 
  • Burn Yin-Yang candles to attract relationships 
  • To increase physical activity and passion  in a relationship, display fish 🐠, just make sure, to not overuse water in a bedroom, because it can wash out your feelings.
  • Happy marriages are symbolized by butterflies 🦋 
  • Rose quartz, Moonstone, Garnet, and amethyst are the gemstone that symbolize love. You can put them under you pillow, or display them on shelves to call for the universal love energy.


                                     Our Love and marriage area




        As always, I try to show you the mentioned areas, of my home, giving you a picture of Feng Shui in everyday life. 
In this case,  the Love and Marriage corner of my house, is half-half a room. Half of my living room, and half of the office/ music room. As Feng Shui can’t be stoped by walls, I don’t have a problem with it. I just make the best I can, out of every  situation I face. I have a wolf dream catcher on the wall, which represents the fire element, and also respect and grace.


       I’m happily married and we have a wonderful child, but as every married couple we have our ups and downs to, specially when a child comes into a relationship. We had our baby after more then 15 years spent together, so obviously it was a major change in our lives, to get used to the new us.
To keep the love alive, and that tiny human being as well, we made sure to make time for us two every day. Small things, like an early bedtime for the baby, and accepting help from family and friends give us the opportunity to spend time together, and as individuals as well. It is important to have that ME time, to be a happy mommy and daddy. So he went to his rehearsals, meanwhile I was writing and blogging. 



 

      The love area of our home is cozy, and comfortable, we spend a lot of time cuddling on the couch , so  our energy feeds the love energy, and I definitely don’t feel like it wouldn’t be enough. In addition to our energy 
I chose pictures of music instruments, to put on the wall,  because, we both love music, and to add a little bit of fire to it, I made sure, they have something red within. 


( I mentioned in earlier posts that we are looking for a  carpet and a practical coffee table, we’re still looking 👀
         Upstairs, part of the nursery, is the love corner, (what else to define our love, than the fruit of it.) I placed two armchairs in this area, with red pillows, or blankets. 


And just as  on our couch, we spend a lot of time here cuddling with our baby. It is the only room in the entire house, that we chose to paint it (baby pink), and I  put silver sparkling butterflies wall stickers all over this area, and it turned out so lovely.

If you have the need, the will and the possibility, set up a love room. Obviously it can be your bedroom, but also a different room in the house, consider the element of the space you’re about to set this room up. ( most adequately would be the guest room, as  an unused space can stop the energy flow. )
This room should be TABU for the rest of the family, to keep the everyday problems out of this temple of love.
Fill this room only with  vibrations of love, tenderness, joy, trust and intimacy.
The accommodation should be sensual, cozy and should have enough latitude.
Design this room, together with your partner, considering each other’s needs.
If you are single, and set up a love room; you send a message to the universe, that you are ready to fall in love, and you’re find a partner sooner than you think.
Think about which textures have a sensual and inspiring effect on both of you. Which lighting effects, which colors, sounds and scents makes you forget about your everyday lives during a passion field night.
If you both listen to your hearts, the outcome will be unique. With a bit of fantasy, the most boring bedroom can be turned into a love nest.

When you intend to spend  time in this room light some suave candles on your nightstand, maybe with a scent. (Jasmine , sandalwood , ylang-ylang )  
Put satin bedsheets on, and put some extra pillows on the bed. You can add some rose petals, or any flowers you like.  Your best chance to  pleasurable erotic experience, is  a sensually stimulating environment. So turn  the  music on, and turn the outside world off.  


AND AS A BONUS
Cocktail of the love nest: 1 drop of ylang-ylang essential oil, 7 drops of lemon, and 1 drop of orange blossom. Mix this with some water  in a spray bottle and spread it around every time you go into this room.
Cocktail of seduction: 1 drop patchouli, 4 drops of lemon, 1 drop of cardamom, 0,5 dL of peach kernel oil and 2 teaspoons of see salt 
Mix all well, and rub it into your wet skin, every inch of it, than take a shower first  with  warm, than with cold water, without washing the oil off your body, dry yourself and your personal fragrance will be irresistible. To add the scent of a Mediterranean dream, rub 3 drops of lemon  oil in your hands, than go through your hair with it.
